Providing a safe space for our communities to collectively come together and unite. Delivering culturally appropriate services at a grass-roots level.
This project aims to establish a comprehensive advocacy, referral and consultancy service for First Nations people in communities, operated from the Bandaar Walaaybaa Community Hub. The service will focus on linking First Nations individuals with local services, ensuring their Medicare information is up to date, assisting with MYGOV issues and providing access to various support programs and services.
The Elder Care Support program is designed to deliver Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Support, connection and coordination. Through this program, NACCHO will work with the Aboriginal community- controlled sector to ensure older Aboriginal and TSI people and their families are supported to understand, navigate and access aged care services they are entitles to.
Advocacy for culturally sensitive needs. Assistance with different levels of support coordination to match your needs, goals, circumstances.
Community transport services to help mob access essential services. We offer two vehicles.
A 7-seater mini-bus, available for group activities, that comes with a disability lift for clients who need additional support, and a Nissan X-Trail ideal for out-of-area trips.
